Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers warm and cozy rooms that are comfortable and clean, with a basic bar and no restaurant. It is themed for a celebrity, providing affordable accommodation. The service was pleasant but nothing exceptional, with some room odor issues noticed. The location is excellent for visiting the Opera House and Pavilion Gardens, although other aspects were not as appealing. The dining experience, while basic, was not a major concern, and guests enjoyed breakfast nearby. While in need of restoration, the facilities were still functional.
The hotel room was gigantic and had everything we needed. It had a lot of character with large bay windows looking out onto trees, a nice hot shower, and a huge bathroom. There was no extra charge for bringing a dog. The bed was comfy, the room was very clean, and the staff were really helpful and chatty. The location was great for the goyt valley, and my partner enjoyed the bar. However, the service seems to be struggling with the old building and the hotel has some structural issues being addressed.
